‘Michael’s songs cover a wide range of issues and experiences which cannot fail to move people who share a common love, and will surely encourage those who are themselves struggling.’

Graeme Duffin, Wet Wet Wet

‘I had the pleasure of producing Michael’s first solo album Cold and Roofless about ten years ago and it was so evident that he had an amazing gift for lyrics and telling ‘real’ stories through these lyrics.’ Fraser Spiers, musician, record producer and music teacher

Another accomplished release from one of Scotland's most thought-provoking artists.

8/10 Cross Rhythms Review of ‘Meet Me At The Cross'

Michael McMillan

writes great songs, with strong melodies and lyrics, that tell about the ups and downs of life with and without Jesus.  His performances include humour and real life stories from his personal experience as a Professional Musician, a Police Officer, an Addictions Counsellor and as a Christian.

Michael has been in music for many many years. He originally started playing drums and has performed with many famous and infamous names. Now as an established singer songwriter Michael writes and performs his music like no-one else. If you like Bruce Springsteen, The Eagles, Jackson Browne, James Blunt and Paul Carrack you will love Michael's music.

From his extraordinary journey through life as a professional musician, a police officer and as an addictions counsellor, Michael brings powerful testimony and witness through his wonderful songs and music. They cover issues such as love, infidelity, addictions, crime, suicide and hopelessness, but ultimately a new beginning, a new life and a new found love through walking with Jesus.

Michael’s first album ‘Cold and Roofless’ was recorded with Graeme Duffin of Wet Wet Wet and Fraser Speirs who has played with Muddy Waters, Van Morrison, Paulo Nutini.and many others.  Since then he has released two further albums ‘Faith to Faith’ and most recently ‘Meet Me at The Cross’.

Michael has also written a book ‘In His Eyes’ which covers his life as told through the lyrics, and accompanying photographs, from his albums.

Michael can provide great music, humour and testimony as a solo artist or with The Hope Street Band. This can be in a large concert hall, church hall or room of any size, even the comfort of your own home at a house concert.

Michael can also talk to groups of any size or age (youth groups, breakfasts, men’s and ladies groups), on issues of addictions, suicide, bullying, sex, pornography, poverty, faith, life and a new hope, bringing his own brand of humour, life skills and experience.
