“Fields of Ypres was top notch, great musically and well placed testimony, was one of our best Sunday Night Lives.” Duncan - SNL organiser

Fields of Ypres

is Graham Phillips, singer/songwriter from the West Midlands.

The name Fields of Ypres is evocative for me, it reminds me how every year those fields are swathed in a sea of poppies.  Despite their painful and shameful history the Lord chooses to clothe them with this vivid display of life.  It's one small example of God's amazing grace and it's this that inspires me to write music.

After spending several years touring and recording with my old band Young Runaways, including a performance at Glastonbury 2008 I went solo as Fields of Ypres in early 2010.  Since starting out as Fields of Ypres my music has been played on BBC Introducing Shropshire and on BBC6 Music, where one of my tracks was chosen by Tom Robinson as one of his favourite songs of 2010.  My life has changed as I've been drawn into a closer relationship with the Father and I want my music to tell of this relationship and my journey with Him.

Fields of Ypres is available to perform at a wide range of events including cafe style church events such as Sunday Night Live.
